ThisJustinTexas.com was launched in February 2012 by the Wise County Messenger, a twice-weekly newspaper serving neighboring Wise County since 1880. It will be part of a package of products, digital as well as print, to serve Justin and the 76247 ZIP code.

“ThisJustinTexas.com combines the stability of a well-established, award-winning newspaper company with the exciting opportunities that digital technology offers to deliver news and information,” said Messenger publisher Phil Major. “We believe the Justin community deserves and will support its own newspaper/website, and we are excited to bring this to reality.”

Major said that community involvement will be key to the success of this endeavor.

“Residents will play a vital role in helping this project progress,” Major said. “By embracing their own community news product, they will ensure its continued growth.

“We encourage anyone with an interest in Justin to start sending news and information, and contact us about advertising opportunities,” he said.
